Meek

As with the other families, I have no certainty regarding the ancestors of my ancestors.

John Meek (1762–1826) was a soldier and served in India. I later found him in Jamaica at around the age of fifty-five. His daughter Hannah, however, followed her husband John Roe to Kingston in 1815.

I later traced them to Boulogne-sur-Mer, where her husband died. Hannah later returned to England and died in London in 1852.
